Have no fear...AppleCheeks cloth diapers and accessories are here!

I love, love, love fluffy mail!

After buying one AppleCheeks envelope with Hemp insert  and absolutely loving it for both Béla and Kadie back in January I had to have more!
I received straight from Ilana at AppleCheeks:

-4 AppleCheeks Bamboo one size flat inserts
-AppleCheeks envelope cover in Raspberry Sorbet size 2
-AppleCheeks envelope cover in Coriander size 2

For those that are curious because of my USPS rant, our mailman pulled passed our driveway then reversed down our driveway. Daddy was the one that answered the door and signed for the package. Our mailman told him that USPS policy stated he could not back-up for Postage Due, what the heck? Stupid USPS can't even keep their own employees and policies straight...but that's a topic for another post.

Anyway, Daddy brushed passed me and ran to the kitchen to get scissors to open it. He was just about as excited as I was to get AppleCheeks fluffy mail...it was a bit funny actually. As he took the stuff out I told him what everything was. I hung the size 2 storage sac up right away, tucked the size 1 in my diaper bag and threw everything else in the wash. Ilana suggested prepping the bamboo inserts by washing them three times in hot before using them so that's what I did. I put Kadie in her Raspberry Sorbet cover and Béla in the Coriander thinking I would be able to get a very cute picture of them together but Béla was soon out cold. So this is the best I could do. Kadie on the other hand was such a ham, looking super cute in her little ruffled, girly girl color AppleCheeks cover.

I really love the colors available for the envelope covers. The first cover I bought was St. Lucia, a vivacious gender neutral blue, the Raspberry Sorbet is as wild and vibrant as the Coriander is calm and cool. I can't wait to see the Chocolate and Periwinkle covers I ordered on BabyHalfOff on Saturday. I've already gotten shipping information so they should be here before the weekend.

Man, were AppleCheeks a hot commodity on BabyHalfOff this weekend! Thankfully (luckily) I subscribe to Ilana's (co-owner of  AppleCheeks) blog and knew they were going up a couple hours before. At about 9:50AM EST I plopped down at the computer, logged into the BHO site and kept refreshing until AppleCheeks popped up. I ended up submitting my order for the two envelope covers at 10:06am. The mouse potatoism was well worth it though. I got two AppleCheeks envelope covers at $9.54 a piece! An hour and a half later everything but one color in size one was GONE! When the BHO site owners tried to release canceled orders on Sunday there were so many people on the site waiting, because they give notices on their Facebook and Twitter, that they couldn't do it when they had said they would, but instead had to wait a while.

I love AppleCheeks so much I was asked to be a Regional Marketing Representative for Central New York and Pennsylvania. If you live in my rep area and would like your favorite retailer to carry the AppleCheeks line contact me either by emailing me or  leaving a comment to a post and I'll get right on that.

If you're an individual looking for an AppleCheeks promotional code or AppleCheeks discount code ask me how you can get 15% off your initial order of AppleCheeks.

Thank you for your comment. I emailed you but wanted to respond here for others that may be wondering.

I didn't know how in-depth your knowledge on cloth diaper is so I didn't want to overload you with information or tell you stuff you already knew (like what a pocket or AI2 is) so here are some distinct differences:
-FuzziBunz are a pocket diaper. AppleCheeks can be used as a pocket diaper or as an all in two system (AI2) system
-FuzziBunz come with microfiber inserts that get stuffed in the pocket. AppleCheeks have (natural fiber) one-size Bamboo flats that get folded into thirds and either stuffed in the pocket or laid on top depending on how you use it. Microfiber can absolutely NOT be put up against baby's skin.
-FuzziBunz have "perfect sized" or one size options. AppleCheeks are a two sized system-(size 1 for the newer/smaller babies and size 2 for the older/larger babies and toddlers)
-FuzziBunz one sizes can be adjusted using their internal adjustment system. You don't need to mess with that with AppleCheeks.
-FuzziBunz are bulker, AppleCheeks are trimmer
-FuzziBunz are made in China, AppleCheeks are made in North America (Canada)
-They have different warranties:
=FuzziBunz Warranty:
Snap Defects – 1 Year
Elastic and/ or PUL (waterproof layer) Defects – 1 Year
Sewing/Workmanship Defects – 1 Year
=AppleCheeks Warranty
• Snap Defects – 18 months
• Elastic Defects – 60 days
• Sewing/Workmanship Defects – 60 days

If you have any more questions or would like me to elaborate on anything don't hesitate to ask.
